Dear Interlay Community Members:
After a long and thorough conversation with Mr. RR (ruDAO) in the Interlay Discord server, we would like to resubmit our previous proposal with a few updates:
- For context, you can read the original proposal HERE.
- One of the original points of contention was that the original proposal mentioned both the retroactive payment ($500 per month for the last 12 months) and a potential future payment moving forward. To be clear, this proposal will only be for the last 12 (now 13) months we have provided the service, which was after we provided the service for free for the first 12 months (October 2023-October 2024) so that users could compare our offering with other competitors that were running RPC endpoints at the time.
- Mr. RR (ruDAO) had some specific requests regarding inspection of logs, numbers of requests, etc, and due to our inability to upload them here as part of the SubSquare interface, I have uploaded them to a Google Doc for your inspection, which anyone can access HERE. Unfortunately, there is no way to attached the logs themselves, but if you email me at [email protected] I will gladly send you a copy of the ZIP file that contains them. You can view the previous dialogue between Mr. RR (ruDAO) and myself with the link placed below.
- On a final note, you may notice that the requested amount of INTR has now nearly doubled from our original submission due to the collapse in the token price. Considering how volatile the token price has been, there is a slight buffer based on the current price. Regardless, should this version pass, whatever amount of INTR that is above the requested $6K USD value will be returned to the Interlay Treasury, especially if the token were to move significantly to the upside. To repeat, we will send back any extra INTR tokens should this pass at a time when the value is higher.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration in this matter.
