**Summary**
This proposal activates INTR staking rewards as of block 529634 - that is, around 9th of June 17:00 UTC (depending on block times). 

**Proposal**
The Interlay team has informed the community in a discussion post that the INTR staking rewards can be activated.

The next step is hence to activate staking rewards via an on-chain governance proposal.

**Requesting TC Fast-track**
Since everything is ready and the community has been waiting for rewards to be activated, a fast-track by the Technical Committee is requested. This way, staking rewards can go live on the same day or the day after. Without TC, this would be delayed by another 2 weeks (up to 7 days before the proposal becomes a referendum, and another week of voting and enactment).
